The Nose of the 0 series

Himeji, Hyogo-ken, Japan

A 0 series Shinkansen (yes Zero is the original ones) we caught to from Shin-Osaka to Himeji, it's on the Kodama 649 service from Shin-Osaka to Hiroshima.

I recall reading somewhere they based the design of the 0 series on the DC8, which was the pinnacle of aviation technology at the time.
