I do not know, was just trying to document Deep Ellum before it was "redeveloped" by non-local developers to cookie cutter fit their ideas for a "cool"place to live. The grain Silo that was one of the starting places for Frito Lay is just a couple blocks away so would be logical to place a firehouse nearby.
