Looking northwest at Crater Island, a mini-range of peaks lying north of the
Silver Island Mountains. The two ranges are connected by a low, bleak area
called Donner-Reed Pass (after the ill-famed Donner wagon train party).

Very nice...I like the detail preserved in the shadowy foreground. Joe's a good assistant, very detail-oriented.
