Sea birds seem to do a lot of waiting, don't they? We have gulls now in our suburban Chicago parks. I discovered a couple weeks ago that the gulls catch fresh water snails that inhabit the ponds here. Nothing as exciting as your pelicans and breakers, thought. It's nice to see the maritime pinks and blues in your shot.
