The legacy of a colonised nation - a tudor house in the middle of a tea plantation in the tropics. Because of its cool climate, Cameron Highlands, which is about 6000 feet above sea level, was traditionally one of the hill stations for the British colonists.
This was an era ago, Malaysia is now in its 50th year of independence, but certain landmarks are etched on the landscape. Even now, one cannot have claimed to have visited Cameron Highlands without first partaking in scones and tea at one of the old English style inns!
