A dark, evil force creeps across the landscape

Amasa Back Trail (near Moab, Utah)

The power lines carry electricity from the Moab area to the potash mine, two miles
away. The thin, curving line next to the road is a natural gas pipeline that also
runs to the mine. The pipeline sits on wooden blocks on the ground for much of
its length; it makes a dramatic descent to Jackson Hole via Jackson's Ladder.
