Rhyolite, Nevada - Ruins of Cook Bank

Rhyolite is a classic 1880s western ghost town, worth visiting. This ruin is the Cook Bank. These walls have become a well known ghost town scene and backdrop to many photographers and one I would like to redo again if given the time and opportunity. This shot is on an April afternoon looking west.

I have seen several photos of the Cook Bank Building here on pbase including my own. This is definitely the best. Great the way the shadows fall.
