General Sherman Sequoia Tree 1977

I broke the rules and climbed over the fence, to gain my own perspective of the most massive living thing on the earth, the General Sherman Sequoia. This grand life form is named after a northern army butcher that marched his armies through the South and left my southern homeland in scorched ruins during the American civil war... I've always hated the nomenclature that befell the Sierra during the westward exploration of the late 1800s...
