Hooray it's Thursday! One more day until the weekend is here. Hooray!
We had our last day of RN orientation today. All of these orientations are starting to get confusing. We had hospital-wide orientation. We had student orientation. We had RN orientation. We had OR orientation, so far for eyes. Next week I start ears/nose/throat orientation. My head is getting full. Who am I kidding?? I love learning. A lot of what was presented today didn't particularly apply to RN's working in the OR, but the good thing is we got out a little early.
I went across the street to the Metropolitan United Church to take some photos of the building. It is a gorgeous place. I went inside and wandered around a bit. I bumped into my friend John Joseph who is a minister at the church. We had a lovely chat about the building and its history. He showed me around and took me upstairs to get some shots from a different angle. He is a very sweet man and I had a very nice afternoon.
I walked across Queen Street to City Hall and sat and watched the skaters for a while, took a few more shots until I got too cold. After I froze my feet off I hopped onto a street car and went to my honey's workplace to pick him up. After he finished work we headed out to an art show opening for a very dear wonderful friend Stephanie. It was a beautiful show and I am so happy for her. Maybe a bit jealous, but very very happy.
My daily tarot card was the Chariot, again. I dunno. My brain has stopped working this evening. Later.
