Today Jon & I went to check out the Cultural Arts Center in T.O. & we
were not disappointed. I have to make sure SPU! gets out there before
the ice skating rink melts! There was so much to photograph, I easily
went thru 175 images in a little over two hours ~ I knew what this shot
was gonna look like as I sat on the ground to capture it. Below are the
words inscribed regarding this stunning piece of artwork. Enjoy ~
Happy New Year to All
"Captured forever in bronze, these three magnificent bald eagles reflect to
all, the spirit of our National symbol. Mated for life and very territorial,
this majestic pair of eagles strike down from the heavens in a real territorial
dispute to drive away the unwanted intruder of their domain. This original life
sized sculpture, cast in the "Lost Wax" process is numbered 49/50. Donated to
the city of Thousand Oaks from the Anthony J. Tesoro Family collection on the
4th of July, 1995."
