MORROW ROAD DOG
Algonac, Mi. LARRY DAVID BRADEN

MORROW ROAD DOG

MORROW ROAD ALGONAC MICHIGAN

I do not believe in ghosts but
this dog could not take his eyes off something
until I almost hit him.
He was not looking at that grader as it
was not even running, but at something in the woods to the left of the photo.
This road is supposed to
be genuinely haunted but.....
Someone is making an indy movie. Not us. Someone with money.

His online classes are everywhere. You can't google anything that doesn't make one of his classes pop up as a sponsor.

Larry, I've just completed one of Dave Beedon's on-line alien-observation classes and now am able to report that 'they' are disguised as mailboxes. Look closely and you can actually see 4-5 of them moving along the road. No wonder that dog is looking backward. Dave has taught me to be very observant as well as afraid. His courses are expensive but worth every cent ...

Maybe he sees one of those mysterious
aliens that somehow slipped out of the
bunkers and past you?

Good catch, Larry, and an even better caption ...

Great photo! They say animals can see things we can't. I can't count the number of times I've watched the cats stare intently at a blank wall. Of course, we have lead paint.

Beautiful shot Larry! So this is Morrow Road. I like it just because it's gravel and the dog has a certain sadness about it. It makes me think of a dog dropped off on an old country road. Thanks for sharing this. GMV

To me, your photo is one of yearning, not fear. It reminds me strongly of a favorite song. James Taylor sings it so sweetly without accompaniment; it always brings tears to my eyes.

"Walk down that lonesome road all by yourself
Don't turn your head back over your shoulder
And only stop to rest yourself when the silver moon
Is shining high above the trees

If I had stopped to listen once or twice
If I had closed my mouth and opened my eyes
If I had cooled my head and warmed my heart
Id not be on this road tonight

Carry on"

That's about half of it. It's called "That Lonesome Road." Your dog looks so lonesome to me...I hope the collar means that there's home with someone waiting for him.

This is a mightily evocative image to me.

It sure gives me the creeps. You've managed to capture a very eerie feel here. V.
