If you get Phil Douglis (http://www.pbase.com/pnd1) talking about photography, it is likely to be hard to get a still image of him. I feel like this image captures his enthusiasm for his art.
Wonderful, Tim. You give us all the benefit of your vantage point as well as a glimpse at your intimate knowledge of Phil's passion for his art and work.

Perfect timing -- Phil as a blur. You caught the hands just right -- a quarter of a second in the California Pizza kitchen. I would love to add this to my "as others see me gallery" (http://www.pbase.com/pnd1/phil_douglis ) -- there is nothing in there that characterizes me as appropriately as this, Tim. Thank you.

This is a great image of Phil showing his passion for whatever he is doing at the moment. Here he could be conducting music or explaining the in and out of the perfect photographic image. Of course, the normal image, the way most of us see Phil is with him looking down into the camera display. Its hard to recognize Phil when face to face.
