Frittilary Drops

Fritillaria meleagris - The Snakeshead Fritillary, I am lucky enough to live within cycling distance of Ducklington meadow, a field preserved especially for this rare, dainty wildflower. During April these small, chequered pink-purple inflorescences create a beautiful carpet over the spring grass.
