these are some very nice urban night scenes. I love how green colours stand out. This inspires me to try the same for my Deventer night series. Thanks for sharing! V.

Yes, I used a tripod for these photos. Exposure time for this one was 13 seconds.
There some powerful lights installed by the city authorities, some of them are just below the point where I was standing. These lights are pointed to the buildings on the opposite side of canal. City of Brugge gets most of it's income from tourism, so they make sure that city center looks nice even at night.

Linas: This is an amazing photo taken at night as were others like this one. The detail and lighting is picture postcard perfect. Two questions come to mind: Was this shot on a tripod and was this "painted light", with someone using a hand held light source moving around in long exposure illuminating each building?
