Spartan Pines

Loch a Chroisg, Achnasheen, Scotland.

If I had a personal favourite image, this would be it. It is quite intriguing to try and work out what is exactly is going on. The reality is that a clutch of straggly Scots Pines have been photographed against plunging scree slopes liberally covered in frost and reflected nearly perfectly in the waters of the loch.
