Fire in the Sky

Roseisle, Moray, Scotland.

This amazing and extraordinarily vivid sunrise matured over Roseisle and I dashed around like a demented haddock trying to find a strong subject to lock and solidify the viewers attention. I finally found this row of Scots Pine trees and had seconds to complete the exposure before peak colour died. Who says landscape photography is sedate.

Absolutely stunning.
The silhouetted pines are so immaculately placed in the compo, and they perfectly contrast the sky; black as opposed to immense light, and standing in this slight slope that opposits the lines in the clouds. Perfect harmony, which I can enjoy for a looong time.

Moments when the light is this spectacular are rare, and thus cannot be planned. Good job on capturing the magic of the moment.

Vivid color and surreal lighting. This shot makes me speechless. I like this sunset shot very much. In fact one the the best sunset shots I even seen. GMV for sure.
