Mosi Oa Tunya

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, Africa.

Mosi Oa Tunya "the smoke that thunders" had never looked so odd. Earlier in the day a forest fire had flared up about twenty miles from the falls and ash from it rained down over the prestigious Victoria Falls hotel. In the distance the sky had turned thunderous black while the light from the forest fire bounced off the underside of the distant clouds and glowed hotly like an early sunset. The surreal result is what you are seeing here.
