Hey UN, thanks for the plastic jugs

Sarajevo

Getting shelled while fetching water was a big problem for the people of Sarajevo. Water sources were known to the Serbs and couldn't be moved....that made targeting easy. Those filling their jugs did it as quickly as possible and got out of there. This source, if I'm not mistaken, was directly from the city water works and was very clean water. What is the point of having an international peace keeping force, such as the UN was in Sarajevo, if the bad guys are allowed to continue killing people as they search for water?

should make UN big wigs stand in line with them. I don't think I could of been stationed there and not done anything. I readed"The sharp end of the stick". It would depress the hell out of knowing and not able to truly do anything but stop all out genocide!

Don't remember much about the water deaths. A lot about the market deaths and snippers though.
