The unit is way too bunched up because we were on main roads, at times the column was nearly a mile long and bunched up to stop civilian vehicles intermingling with the convoy causing safety concerns i.e braking distances on old vehicles and other safety aspects. Also idiots would probably comment on why could'nt they eliminate modern vehicles out of the convoy photos! If you could have seen this sight comming towards you, you would have been impressed everyone there was. This convoy was a credit to the organisers.

Yes we know about spacing, but this is a representation in modern traffic.
If you leave gaps - they fill up with lunatic frenchmen.

A great sight, wish I could have been there, a pity the photographer could not have eliminated the modern signage, also the unit is WAY too bunched up
