I'm fairly certain that the highlight under her beak is the head of one of the Pax River osprey Communities newest additions, mom was certainly paying a lot of attention today. In the two nests on the bay, both female ospreys were spending a lot of time apparently feeding young. The young were still to small and out of site, this is the only item that moved that I could see other than the parent ospreys.
