By the time I was ready for my morning exploration, it had become breezy. The tent was not guyed to
the ground, so just to be safe, I put a rock in the tent as "hold-down" insurance to supplement the
weight of my sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and some miscellaneous items. When I returned to camp, the
tent had been shifted from its original position and was leaning slightly to one side. The wind got
stronger as I packed my gear for the descent. A gust of wind pushed the tent as seen here. Just after
this shot was taken, the wind blew the tent onto its side, then flipped it over. I had nightmarish
visions of the thing tumbling right over the nearby precipice. I added another rock, which kept the
tent from moving any further. Folding and packing the tent in the wind was a chore.
(The orginal text said nothing about the contents of the tent.
I revised the text to answer 1moremile's question.)
