Goal is far below

Near Shafer Trail &Thelma and Louise Point, Utah

My goal was to get to the faint purple rock bench barely visible on this side of the river,
opposite the sandbar. The route led to the right to a shelf, some zigzags, and another shelf
that eventually took me far to the right and into a canyon. Finding the way was great fun.

Near the top of the photo is a thin light horizontal
line: that's the bench on which Shafer Trail runs.

Saw no havolinas, havalinas, javelinas, javelins, Javelins, or Havoline. Just saw a few lizards and one or two birds.

Did you see any wildlife-any havolinas or such?

Thanks, Larry. For several years I was a leader of scrambles for a Seattle-based outdoor club called The Mountaineers.

Dave,
With your knowledge and skills you should be a scoutmaster or something. I'm not kidding.
