A long-time friend and aviation photographer who moved back home to Cranston, Rhode Island after suffering a few strokes here in Miami and becoming unable to work. Phil managed airline catering companies for most of his working career. He last worked for Miami Air International in their inflight service department before suffering the strokes.

Phil Glatt passed away on February 10, 2015, in Rhode Island. Rest In Peace, Phil, we had many good times in the aviation photography hobby. You were the one who suckered me into giving airfield tours of MIA for the Eddy Gual Slide Convention starting in 1993, tours that continue annually to this day.
