Katrina Art

Canal Boulevard and Conrad

There is a man and his young son who are going around an area in Lakeview painting all the cars and trucks that were abandoned and drowned on August 29. There are 100,000 of them still sitting. He has a roller and a bucket of paint and paints the vehicles vanilla, tires and all. They look better this way and are a conversation piece. I agree that they do look better all one color.
There are thousands of stories in Katrina's saga and this is another one of them. And, as I keep saying "if you don't laugh, you'll cry."

I've seen quite a few as well Coleen. And yes I do laugh, but maybe not enough.
