Wow,a fairytale vista: lovely soft colors and great expanse of calm water that seems to go on forever! The graceful swans in the foreground complete the scene and add great depth. A beautiful image, Larry.

That's gorgeous...could be a painting.

Just noticed this one -- fascinated by the light and colors, can't tell exactly what's at work there but it's so delicate, and yet when you get in close the colors are really strong. Great work, whatever you did or didn't do! :o) And Soenda's right, swans are wonderful birds from a distance.

Super-duper of a shot Larry, that vast stretch of water, the swans and those lovely pastel colours, its all quite impressive.
Soenda 29-Jan-2007 05:45
This is so pretty...my mom used to spend hours pouring over picture puzzles because she enjoyed photos like this so much. The grand open vista is such an optimistic statement. (On the other hand, it's a good thing those swans didn't see anyone calling them geese. They can be feisty creatures and they do leave pinch marks when they bite.)

Beautiful scene. Perfectly balanced picture - plus two swans set there, too good to be true.

Wait a minute. Aren't those swans?
CG F 01-Mar-2006 01:04
Yes, very impressive. The perspective of the picture is awesome! How everything lines up. my question is, How did you get those geese to pose like that? Are they trained.
