****A poignant image about loneliness and fantasy. Calvin Klein would have us beleive that if you wear a certain brand of pants, you will find fiery love. But the reality of course is the opposite. Pants are pants. These two young people wear pants (perhaps even Calvin Klein pants) yet there is no such pleasures for them tonight. They do not even notice each other as they stand on a street with arms folded or hands in the pockets, taking no notice of either the sign or each other. The fantasies that advertisers spin are falling on deaf ears and blind eyes.

Thanks cockroach, here is the old one. I personally like this better too. But it is a little blured due to the hand shake..

Did you replace this with the one on 7feb? Somehow I seem to recognize a difference....thought the little girl was standing with her face more to the left. If I am not daydreaming, I like the old one more.

Jennifer Zhou at night...the most romantic and lonely of all times in the day. This is when the light of day becomes the darkness of life....this is the real time. I love it for all the reasons that I love night photography, but I love it most, because it's night photography by you. My Hero. K

A shot on the go :) But yes! the contrast is evident and well captured. The closeness and the distance existing side by side in just a few paces away.
