I shot pics of this Black Phoebe for about an hour. He was on the other side of the river and would stay on his perch for a minute or so and then go off to feed and come back within a minute. Since it was a distance and the bird is so small, I had to resort to manual focus and tried various aperatures to try and get him (her?) in focus as he flew away and came back.
