A rich and calm classic. Palette and motif reminds me of the those slightly faded classicism paintings and tapestries.

Jeannie, pleased with this? Well, you should be...and thanks for the story reminding us that good things come to those that wait. I can almost see you there. Great image, thanks again. Best Wishes, Traveller

Thanks Traveller! I really didn't do much post processing on this one -- just a little levels & unsharp (200, .25, 2).

I went to take the dog out & looked up at the sky. I was sooo pleased with the amazing clouds. We haven't actually had any rain or even clouds for that matter for forever here in Texas. This night we got clouds, but alas, still no rain. ***sigh*** The full moon almost created a rainbow like effect on the surrounding clouds. I ran inside & grabbed my camera. Of course, the moon was completely covered when I returned minutes later.

I sat outside with my camera & monopod. By the time the clouds started to break up again, the moon was getting close to overhead. The monopod was no good as I was almost laying in my lawn chair pointing the camera upwards. LOL In the end, though, I was very pleased with this one. -- Jeannie (jburly)

With the recent full moon I was thinking of doing something like this...but I didn't have the clouds for framing and...my moons have never looked as good as yours. Did you do any special sharpening or other things to enhace the moon itself? Best Wishes, Traveller

Great atmosphere with the clouds around the moon!
