During 2001 Jamaica had a hurricane on the other side of the island brewing sending squals almost every day for a couple of days as it approached and passed by. These squals would turn the clear blueish green waters blackish and the rain falling from dark clouds in sheets. On the horizon was a frighter sailing on smoother seas with fair skys on their horizon. A beautiful contrast as well as the questions....where are they going....what is just over the horizon awaiting them ....would it not be great to be going with them right now as the palms start bending with the increasing winds of uncertain weather? A wishful-wanders thoughts then, but glad now my wish was not answered and stayed to have the storm stimulate my senses enjoying the wind & rain bound the little rock I was perched on that day.
