Do they tell you before you start a PAD that it will not only take time, but also money? No. LOL. I was having a coffee and reading a magazine and saw a photo of a feather on a textured background. So, I went to the next craftstore, and bought paper (you actually see the back of it here) and feathers. Glad to say when I do these things my photos usually turn out differently than the inspiration, so I'm not totally copying other people's ideas.
Post-processing involved transformation (skew) to get the image square (since the camera was at an angle to the photo), levels, curves, desat and toning.
