Someone once told me the difference between kissing butt and brown-nosing is depth perception. And, an artist, Kliban, did a great cartoon called 'Deeper Meanings'. It had some people of orthodoxy pulling a wagon, at great difficulty, with squares mounted on axels. Their cargo was a load of round wheels. g
