This is probably a Greater White-fronted crossed with a Snow/Blue morph Snow Goose mix. This bird was found in a flock of Greater White-fronted Geese. Note the all white breast and the white edgings to the dark wing coverts, the white frontal mark on the forehead and the orange bill that has a snow goose grin patch. There were a few cross streaks on the lower belly on the far side of this bird. Boy did mom get around.................
Now we know what is going on when we hear those out breaks of cackling and honking in these flocks of mixed geese at NIGHT. LOOSEY-GOOSEY-GOOSEY
