Martini 935

Just a very cool shot! Kind of reminds me of the first time I saw a 934. Portland Trans-Am race in 1977? The Vasek Polak transporter pulled in late, they barely got the cars unloaded. Two absolutely pristine white 934's joined the practice session already in progress. They circulated quite slowly for a few laps and the crowds anticipation grew thin. You could hear the Corvette guy's saying, those things aren't even competetive, look how slow they are! The very next lap they were hard on it, producing a sound never heard before. Not to mention they looked like they were shot out of a cannon entering the Circus corner. Braking into the sweeper they were in total harmony with each other and then they proceeded to blow off the top Corvette down the straight. On the first upshift looking down the straight this photo is what we saw. "TOTALLY AWSOME!" one of the Chevy guy's said "Look they both blew up!" The rest is history. Like I said, "There is no substitue"

other sizes: small medium large original auto
