I couldn't decide which to post.... I'm overloading on ornaments, but my area of exploration is still at bit limited!
Did photograph dinosaur models at work today, but it would be a conflict of interest to post them here! ;-)
So... another antique ornament!

I can see why you could not decide, I can't either . . . both are beautiful!
Guest 24-Dec-2005 03:37
Really like the bw version. The clarity of the glass is beautiful.

so different! the B&w one does enhance the textures and lighting. your current universe is beautiful!
JW21-Dec-2005 19:20
Stunning! The shapes and textures are further enhanced by the B&W treatment.

I like the top one the best, but I really like them both.

Really nice Mindy. My ornament pictures sure don't look like that!!
Guest 20-Dec-2005 16:23
I love the old antique ornaments, but I think I broke all of ours when I was little ; )
So pretty and delicate looking, brings back memories of Christmas when I was much younger!!
Di20-Dec-2005 15:26
I like the "cold" tones of the b&w one.
Sharon Rogers20-Dec-2005 15:04
Like the b&w one
Neal Nye20-Dec-2005 13:06
They're both beauties. I'm glad you didn't choose just one.
Breland20-Dec-2005 13:03
Both are beautiful but I would lean toward thwe second one because of the light reflections.
steve mcsweeny20-Dec-2005 12:33
Tough choice :) Both are super, vote!
don nieman20-Dec-2005 11:36
The color removed image sparkles. I do like the red and green Christmas colors on the color image, though.

Wonderful shot: and works really, really well in black and white...!
shatterbug20-Dec-2005 07:19
Beautifully done, Mindy! Both are excellent, but I prefer the b/w one. The detail and dof are wonderful! Vote.

Wow, very nice!! I love the b&w shot of the ornament!
Bryan Murahashi20-Dec-2005 04:28
Very nice light and color in this ornament. Nicely shot.
Karen Leaf20-Dec-2005 04:22
Wouldn't want the B/W to have it's feelings hurt, so my vote goes there. Hope you're making a great catalog of these for cards :)
Coleen Perilloux Landry20-Dec-2005 03:55
Wonderful shot here and it brought back memories. These beautiful ornaments, or ones just like it, hung on our tree when I was growing up. Precious antiques.
Gary Winters20-Dec-2005 03:21
Loved the black and white, until I saw the colour version, and now i love that one more. Don't tell the b&w one. It doesn't have to know.
Elaine (etfitz)20-Dec-2005 03:15

Robin Reid20-Dec-2005 03:04
You are correct. We don't need any more dinosaurs here on Pbase ;-). Glad to learn you have returned to work.

This is a delicate and lovely shot. Good choice.
