The Killer

Rancho Bernardo, CA

There are two short stories about this shot. First, this is to acknowledge Kent and Kay who left this piece of art as a house present last week. Kent was around many years ago when my second marriage imploded, and since the Praying Mantis eats its mate he thought that I might identify with the gift. ;=(

Secondly, I have attempted to recreate a lighted stage as outlined in a CD I received from NAPP.

Pretty neato, Robin. It almost looks like a cartoon character.

Good experimentation Robin. Esp like the colors.
I notice the PM is genderless -- do both species enjoy canabalism?? If so where do I get a copy of this masterpiece, lol!

Wow! Fabulous colors. Striking image. Both male and female eat aphids, too.

Wow, eats it's mate!? Some of us would have a lot more to chew than others! Very creative image.

I pray you'll MAN this stage with more art soon =)
Gary Winters23-Oct-2005 02:26
You didn't say whether you could identify, but lemme tell you, I can! I like the figure, and I'm not quite convinced that the photoshop trick looks like a stage. That said, it's still cool with great colors!

I love your artistry, but your imagery is kind of scary.

Great effect. What a story.

Brilliant, the artistry is outstanding. Voted.
However, how any one can stand to marry for a second time is beyond me.
Unless the first marriage was so good.
