What a contrast with Ste-Ursanne, but in some way there is also a lot of beauty on the decade of the facades and the "chaos", good light and you perfelctly captured the atmosphere in both places. Jesus

The low angle of the light gives mood - that and the clothes are what makes the image interesting - plus the decaying layer of paint on the wall gives the image texture. Your well applied sharpening also makes it possible to see the texture in such a small image. I can't think of anything that deserves very much criticism, but perhaps the image could do with some kind of centre of interest or something that makes it less 'everyday'. Now it may be a little mundane, but then again -I think that would be also the point for this kind of image and possibly also the strong point.

Thanks, Cheryl, for taking a «critical look» at all three of my images! — db.

Thanks, Helen and Shu, for commenting (Helen on all three of my pictures: you are a perfect host)! No, Shu, I do not shoot RAW; I shoot highest-resolution JPEGs with *low in-camera sharpening* to do most of the sharpening in PhotoShop individually on each picture while post-processing. — db.

Boy! This is fantastic! On my monitor, the clothes seem to be third dimensional against the
cement siding. It must be the shadows that make them appear that way. Do you shoot in "raw?'
The clarity is amazing. shu

Nice composition and light; the clothing strung across the frame give it a very human touch. Helen
