Laguna Beach is world renown for its numerous art galleries, outstanding restaurants, inviting accommodations and, of course, its breathtaking beaches, cliffs, coves, marine sanctuary, and jagged rocks. Although this image of the city appears to be lit by the setting sun, the light on the buildings is actually reflected light from the sky approximately 30 minutes after sunset. My eye was particularly drawn to the reflected light on the water, as well as the warm light bathing the city, which adds to the photo’s overall appeal. Virtually every image captured of this wonderful town is taken in broad sunlight. But, I strove to create an image capturing the alluring qualities of Laguna Beach after sunset. It should be of little surprise that Laguna Beach attracts visitors from around the globe
