Sula was a very special Siberian Husky. Presented to Lois Leonard at the age of 6 weeks from an unregistered litter, Sula began her career at 18 months with a string of seven straight qualified Novice classes, with average scores in the mid-190's. After a year-long search for her pedigree, Sula was officially registered at the age of five as LoJan's Very Special Sula. She went on to become the first Siberian Husky female, and only the second of her breed, to earn an Obedience Trial Championship, a feat that has not been achieved by another Siberian Husky to this day. O.T.Ch. LoJan's Very Special Sula, Canadian C.D.X., Schutzhund A.D. retired in 1988 with two all-breed High In Trials, two Siberian Husky Club of America National Specialty High In Trials, and 18 area Specialty High In Trials, and was for nine years the top-scoring Siberian Husky in the United States.
