Second in the lineup is Ambrose. He came out all full of fire! Little guy actually had the
audacity to bite me! Well, I've no doubt I'll get him used to being handled in time. It's going
to be a while before I can start him on that though. Maybe in a month when they've settled down,
eaten a few times and had a couple sheddings.
Don't get me wrong, in no way could he possibly hurt me, but I'd rather not have him biting the
hand that feeds him. Corn snakes are one of the most docile snakes bred as pets, but when they
are newly hatched they are under a lot of stress and will defend themselves against a perceived
threat.
