I'm going on a African Safari in September, 2006 & wondered if you would use this on the safari? I have a Canon EOS 300D & can't afford more than $300 for a long-tele lens. I've read report where it's ok at 300mm at the center. Could you provide some feedback. Included a website's review of this lens,check out the Verdict:
