Sun Conure.jpg

This bird appeared out of no where. Clearly it was someone's pet that somehow got lost. After taking a large number of pictures of it I headed inside. Imagine my amazement when I got to the garage and found the bird followed me. I was afraid that it would fly into the ceiling fan, but instead it immediately settled on my shoulder! We kept it for a week while running adds in the local paper trying to find it owners. After getting no responce we gave it to our vet who could provide a better home and care for it better then we could. I really miss the bird. It was so affectionate and loved human contact (it would literally perch on our shoulders all day) so much it was really hard to let it go.
