Yes Earl, I noticed that about the lighting too - nice! The photo reminds me of a tongue and by extension The Rolling Stones' logo with lips and a tongue. Well done! Actually for a little play on words this could be entitled 'tastebuds'.

Jim, this is an amazing photo. Amazing! Somehow you have managed to get front lighting AND back lighting in the same image, and at the same time completely obscured any background distractions. Beautiful. E-

This is a beautiful shot of light and shadow. At first I thought I was looking at frost on the leaves. Very nice gradation of color and light.

Showing both the outer texture and inside structure. Very cool and unique shot.
I love to use sage in cooking. If you get them very fresh the leaves do have a very soft velvety feel to them.

Thanks! Sage is amazing. It has such a nice texture to the leaves and it's almost furry when you look closely. It smells and tastes so neat too.

Macro is a blast. I've had more fun with this macro lens than any toy I've ever had. There is something so neat about seeing things very close up. I always see things I wouldn't have noticed otherwise.

Wow! I have sage in my kitchen growing up a storm...Jim this is a very cool shot....every time I see a good macro I want to buy a new lens! Damn...you made me want one real bad again...Nice shot! I love the "light on hair" at the end of the leaf and the light thru leaf halfway up...It makes a great structural demonstration!

Cheers,
:-D (Dave)
