We started from Cusco by bus, travelling frist to Lares, with a stop in Calca. We then hiked into the mountains, camped, climbed a high pass, camped again near a lake, and finally walked out through Patacancha to Huilloc, where we took the bus back to Ollantaytambo, and then the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo (aka Aguas Calientas).
