I don't know what kind of flower this is, but it was growing wild in the middle of a large pasture. Herbert identified it as a passion flower. Thank you for your kind comments.

A student brought me in one of these from the playground today. It is a Passion flower and one I especially love. Great photo!

Passion flowers are so beautiful and interesting looking, aren't they? I have one posted on my "mostly flowers" gallery, but yours is more fascinating, and I love the water droplets.

Beautiful! What specimen is this? It's quite lovely. I've seen it a few times, but have yet to find out what it is. I love the droplets formed along the the bifurcation of the stamen(?) well as the little droplets, near top right, which are on part of a spider's web. Great capture!
