Melrose abbey is a magnificent building it was built on a grand scale
it has lavishly decorated masonry. The Abbey is thought to be the burial
place of Robert the Bruce's heart,it is marked with a carved stone plaque.
Melrose Abbey is a Historic Scotland building situated in the heart
of Melrose in the Scottish Borders.
