She passed! She has her Learner's Permit!

I actually took this a couple of days ago, moments after my DD
gave me the news that she'd passed her written driving exam. She
can now drive ON CITY STREETS as long as there is a parent in the
car with her. Good thing for her she has two parents...

On another note, I got my DRebel back from Canon yesterday, just
eight days after sending it in for service. No charge (except to
ship it to Canon) even though out of warranty by six-eight days.
Woohoo!

And on another note, what's with FedEx leaving the package by
my front door?

Anyway, if you're in the San Diego area, drive VERY CAREFULLY and
look out for teenage girls driving with nervous fathers in the car.

Canon PowerShot A70
1/100s f/2.8 at 5.4mm full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

LOL! Love the expression and the sentiment! It terrifies me to think of my daughter driving! I'll be very careful next time I'm in the SD area.

Looking forward to the result of 3 weeks of 'practice' if this is what it's like before she even hits the roads. It's a good thing you wear grey well. Go get 'em Lyndsey!

Gary, I find that same expression on my face everytime my son reminds me that he'll be driving this time next year. You've really captured the angst here. Good news about your cam, finally!

You'll survive......maybe. But, will she? Girls are usually careful drivers--just don't make her nervous or look at her like this.!
Pepe Zyman24-Jun-2005 06:01
Thank you for the warning! I'll make sure not to drive close to your house :^)
