This month I begin repayments of my student loans.
I have to pay about 125 pounds a month until 2012.
This may seem a lot but I was at university for 8 years.
While I was there I worked hard.

What has it got me?

I have a job which pays an average salary, just about enough to survive off.
Certainly nowhere near enough to buy even a tiny flat in this area.
Not even enough to put a down payment on a shed.
I have to live an hours drive from where I work due to the cost of renting in that area.
I am treated with little respect at work and people try to undermine me at every turn.
I have to spend time at the weekend working to keep people off my back.

Who do I have to thank for all of this??? I say Teflon Tony.

My point??? Think twice before spending a fortune and 8 years at university.

Why??? Well I think I could have got all of the above without ever setting foot in a university.
(apart from the 9500 pound debt!)
