Hi Paul, i wasn't pulling you up for mistaking the gender of the child....it's better ambiguous; I added the info about Amy for interest's sake. Kate didn't have time to enter last time. She's a primary school teacher so always pretty stretched in term time; plus they've just had an extension built onto their house, so her computer is packed away. I'll round her up for this challenge.

It's the child that make this work for me, but from a distance it's hard to pick girl from boy, opps! BTW where is Kate these days?? - Regards Paul

Thanks guys for the comments. I'm glad the image has provoked some reactions from you all. BTW, this is Kate's youngest, amy. she's quite grown up now.

Definitely a Stephen King cover! Somebody help that poor boy, he looks so unsure! To keep going or turn back before its too late. Like a moth to the light. I love the effect Flick. - Paul

This is an effective and slightly disturbing image, in a Stephen King-ish kind of a way. Looks like it should be a book cover - Quentin

Hi Flick,
I really like how you've placed things in your composition. I like how my gaze always comes back to the child in the picture. I feel that the road, the rock and moon placement all bring this about. I also like how you've placed the moon a little off center and the trees to help counterbalance the position of the moon. I feel that this really adds to your compostion. The size of the supporting objects relative to the child adds to the feeling of alone or solo. I'm glad you kept it posted.
Best regards,
Shelby
