Wind and Water

Isle of Mull

This was taken last week on Mull.
After a day of pouring rain, several waterfalls appeared on the cliffs but the wind was blowing so strongly that the water was blown back upwards in large plumes of spray.
The area is volcanic and you can see the individual lava flows in the cliff face.
This was taken as a small patch of sun lit up the cliffs and the CalMac ferry sailed by on the way to Oban.

Wind and Water is very impressive. We could watch it for a long time, there is a lot to see in it.
