On my first outing with the Canon Digital Rebel XT, I was on a small boat with a group of birders when we spotted an oprey nest about 70 feet overhead in a pine tree. As we floated past I managed to grab a few shots of the female. Then a male osprey swooped down out of nowhere toward the female. What a sight. A view of the fledgling in the nest was an added treat.
